World Trade Center Transportation Hub

01The Transit Hub is an 800,000 square foot major transportation venue located at the heart of the new World Trade Center. It serves nearly 250,000 commuters and pedestrians daily. The 3D model was manually built with the original architectural plans. The level of accuracy varies from section to section. Rafters, portals, the glass envelope, and skylight have a precision of milimiters while the lower portals, sub-portals, corridors, stairs, and arches vary in a margin of error of 0-100 milimeters.
Because of the nature of the project, the model is split into two major components: the Oculus and Path Hall.
